If you have received one of our business cards and followed the QR code, then we would like to inform you that one of our drone operators has transited over your property as part of a UAV flight mission.

Drone IT is a company that holds a Part 102 Unmanned Aircraft Operator Certificate granted by the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand (CAA) that authorises us to overfly property without consent.  This document is to notify you of our need to operate a remotely piloted aircraft above your property.

The CAA certification requirements that Drone IT has been assessed against provides assurance that our aircraft are airworthy, that our pilots are trained and competent, and that we have adequate risk management procedures for the operation being conducted.
